Welcome to Our Story

The Fitz Table didn’t begin with a business plan. It began around our family table.

Our daughters are adults now and when they talk about growing up, it’s rarely the vacations or the big moments they remember most. It’s the dinners around our family table—the laughter, the conversations, the stories, and simply being together. Those ordinary evenings became some of the memories they still carry with them today.

Looking back, we realized it was never just about the food.

It was about slowing down long enough to be together. It was about making people feel welcome, celebrating life’s milestones, sharing in one another’s joys and burdens, and creating a place where everyone felt they belonged.

That’s simply how Derick and I have always lived.

Whether it was family gathered around our kitchen table, friends stopping by, church gatherings, weddings, or celebrating some of life’s biggest moments, opening our home and sharing a meal has always been one of our greatest joys. We’ve always believed that some of life’s best conversations—and most meaningful memories—happen around the table.

Over the years, we began to realize that what we loved creating in our own home was something we could share with others.

And from that, The Fitz Table was born.

Today, every table we create is an extension of our own family table. Each one is beautifully curated, elegantly presented, and thoughtfully designed because we believe a table is so much more than a place to eat. It’s where people gather, celebrate, reconnect, laugh, share stories, and create memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.
